Her expertise spans healthcare administration, end-of-life care, and organizational leadership.

Professional Journey

Katie’s career began with vocational training in high school, where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She later pursued EMT training and developed a diverse set of self-taught skills that enhanced her leadership role. As a Certified Death Doula, she provides emotional and practical support to individuals and families navigating end-of-life transitions.

Her professional experience includes six years at Lykins Energy Solutions (2014–2020), where she advanced from a Customer Service Representative to a Trainer, launching and implementing new software systems. In 2017, while still at Lykins, she began working part-time as a caregiver for Heaven Sent Care, ultimately transitioning to her full-time Administrative Director role in December 2020.

Katie finds joy in spending time with her family, continually learning new skills, and embracing personal growth. She enjoys watching movies, exploring new subjects, and creating meaningful connections through her work in caregiving and end-of-life support.
